Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Furniture store, Home furnishing store

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet software, Inventory control software, General office equipment

Staff Responsibility: 1 - 20

Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Implement price and credits policies, Recruit and train staff, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise, Customer service oriented

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available

Ability to Supervise: 20 people or less
