Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Certified hotel administrator.

Human Resources Responsibility: 21 - 50

Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000

Work Setting: Hotel, Motel

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Computerized reservation system, Windows, MS Word

Specific Skills: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities, Set work schedules, Respond to customer complaints, Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Develop business plans, Prepare marketing plans, Implement marketing activities, Enforce policies and procedures, Attend to persons with special needs

Additional Skills: Recruit and hire staff, Supervise staff, Conduct performance reviews, Conduct training sessions, Perform front desk duties, Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities

Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract)
