Type of Establishment Experience: Federal or provincial government, Human Resources Centre of Canada, Private employment service agency, Community-based agency Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Word processing, Spreadsheet, Database Specific Skills: Interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background and career goals, Assist clients to develop job readiness skills and job search strategies, Collect labour market information for clients regarding job openings and entry and skill requirements, Teach clients how to write resumes and prepare for job interviews, Counsel workers on work, and career-related issues Additional Skills: Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Other Information: Assist with job search strategies market employers for job opportunities & refer qualified clients Assess client skills/needs.
