Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $20.25 to $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification, Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.).

Type of Service and Repair: Electrical control systems, Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments, Density, weight or viscosity instruments, Gas analyzers

Type of Instrument Experience: Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical

Type of Industry Experience: Food

Specific Skills: Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems, Repair and adjust system components, Remove and replace defective parts, Install new control instruments, Calibrate components and instruments, Determine testing and maintenance procedures

Additional Skills: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, Complete test and maintenance reports, Logical approach for troubleshooting, Consult with and advise process operators
