Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $10.00 to $17.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Fixture manufacturer

Type of Equipment: Computerized woodworking machines, Gluing machines, Saws, Routers, Planers, Drills, Sanders

Specific Skills: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines, Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products, Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions, Clean and lubricate equipment

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Noisy
