Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working nights. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $29,000.00 per hour for a 50 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)

Type of Travel: Local, Provincial/territorial

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform emergency roadside repairs

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Haul mail:1)Wpg Post Office to Pilot Mound in 2 ton mail truck. Split shift:Pick up 2:00 A.M. Wpg. & deliver on route 12 drops.Layover Pilot M. 7:30 am/4:30pm P.U. mail & deliver to Wpg P.O. 9.00 P.M.
