Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $9.00 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, completed high school, some college or technical training, completed college or technical training, some university, completed university.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Food and beverage server certification, Food and beverage server trade certificate, Customers’ service excellence certificate, Wine service certification, Food Safe Certificate, Responsible beverage service certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point-of-sale system

Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections

Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection, Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware, Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
