Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $9.50 to $12.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Cook Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, Food Safe Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions, Work with minimal supervision, Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.), Clean kitchen and work areas, Wash dishes, Organize and manage buffets and banquets
