Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $10.00 to $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Work Setting: Commercial or in-house printers

Type of Equipment: Step and repeat machine, Plate processor

Main Area of Work Experience: Cylinder preparation, Pre-press operations, Proof making

Specific Skills: Prepare, engrave and etch cylinders or plates, Operate computerized equipment to prepare film, laser and dylux proofs for quality control purposes

Additional Skills: Prepare production schedules

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
