Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $13.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Cemetery

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Tractor mower, Sod cutter, Weed trimmer/edger, Roto-tiller, Tractor, Small engine equipment

Specific Skills: Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, Cut grass, Rake/ collect refuse, Remove litter and garbage, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Lay sod or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Water lawns/gardens

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
