Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification.

Area of Specialization: Motorcycle

Specific Skills: Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults, Perform scheduled maintenance and service

Additional Skills: Estimate repair costs, Instruct apprentices

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle, Drive manual transmission vehicle

Work Location Information: In shop
